Installing a Magento extension SMTP ASchroder manually by FTP
Download the Magento-SMTP-Pro-Email-Extension-master.zip here.
Extract the package usually in a zip file, into a temporary directory
Example: C:\Users\mkgrc\Downloads\Magento\SMTP from Aschroder\Magento-SMTP-Pro-Email-Extension-master
There is usually the App folder containing
code, design, etc, locale
Transfer the App folder via FTP to the website root
Refresh your Magento cache and you’ll be complete, logout of Admin and log back in.
